Founded in 1980 as a local cartage company Moran continues to support each of their initial customers. The organization is well-funded, operates with a ratio of 90.2 or better and carries a Dun & Bradstreet rating of 3A1 for the past 4 years. Handling close to one million shipments in the last 3 years, only 17 freight claims were recorded. Maintaining a strong safely record and almost perfect on-time delivery performance, the Company is committed to quality service of its customers in every phase of the operation. The Moran Team is a family-run organization with many members of the family very active in the management and day-to-day operation.
Personnel
Of the 170 member distribution staff over 1/4 have been with the Company in excess of 15 years. It is a corporate goal to attract, retain and compensate employees based on motivation and customer service. Profits are shared with every member of the organization; continual investment in employees maintains the Company's nonunion status.

3 Illinois' warehouses in Elk Grove Village, Bedford Park and Des Plaines totaling 370,000 square feet. 2 terminals in Elk Grove Village and Rockford, IL and a fleet consisting of: 44 tractors, 45 straight trucks with liftgates (22' - 26'), 11 straight trucks (12' - 14') and 325 trailers (48', 45' 40').
